Kairon vs Trigify · honest comparison

Kairon vs Trigify
the honest comparison.

Trigify has closed. Its team joined HubSpot. For most customers, access ended at 11:59pm BST on October 22, 2026. Trigify found the buying signal across eleven-plus platforms. Kairon acts on the signal, on your LinkedIn seat. Here is what Trigify did, what it cost, and what Kairon does in its place.

One found the signal. One acts on it.

trigify was the pick if
  • Your buyers were active well beyond LinkedIn: X, Reddit, YouTube and more
  • You wanted signal provenance: every signal tied to the exact post that triggered it
  • You already owned the sending layer and what you lacked was what to react to
  • You wanted to feed signals into a stack you already had, through workflows into CRM, Slack and outreach tools

What each one actually costs.

Trigify priced credits consumed by signals, enrichments and engagement. Kairon prices a seat that sends. These were Trigify’s prices on August 5, 2026, before it closed.

Feature by feature.

These two overlapped on signals and on MCP, and diverged completely on what happens next. Checkmarks would hide exactly the part that matters.

What it is built to doAct on the signal: run the sequence on your LinkedIn seat and stop it when someone repliesIt found the signal and routed it: detect across platforms, enrich, score intent, push into your stack

What Trigify was genuinely better at.

They were further along than us on the half of the problem they chose, and they picked a bigger half.

Coverage. Signals across 11+ social platforms including X, Reddit and YouTube, where Kairon watches LinkedIn and nothing else. If your buyers complain about tools on Reddit, we never see it, and Trigify did.

trigify.io · 2026-08-05

Provenance on every signal: each one was attached to the post that triggered it, so you could read the actual sentence before deciding whether to reach out.

trigify.io · 2026-08-05

They were agent-native too, and by the same architecture: a hosted MCP server added with `claude mcp add --transport http`, plus a REST API and a CLI. We are not the only MCP option in this category and we will not imply otherwise.

trigify.io · 2026-08-05

A lower entry price and a longer trial: $40/mo against $49, and 14 days against our 7, until it closed.

trigify.io/pricing · 2026-08-05

It composed with what you already ran instead of replacing it, pushing qualified people into CRM, Slack and outreach tools through workflows.

What Kairon does differently.

Not "Trigify had no MCP" and not "Trigify had worse signals". It had both, and broader coverage than ours. The difference was the last step.

It sends. The signal ends in an invitation and a message on your own LinkedIn seat, not in a webhook to a tool that then has to send

A written ICP verdict per company with the evidence behind it, before anyone is contacted

Everything booked stays editable until it fires, so a bad message is a click away from being fixed or dropped

Every action on every campaign is recorded, so months later you can still answer who was contacted, with what, and when

What to actually expect.

No invented percentages here, for either product. Judge the mechanism, not a marketing stat.

Trigify

Trigify rewarded teams who already sent well and were guessing about timing. It widened the aperture: more platforms watched, every signal traceable to a post, everything reachable by an agent. What it handed you was a qualified person and a reason; the sending stayed your problem.

Kairon

Kairon rewards teams whose sending is the bottleneck. It watches a narrower surface, judges each company against your ICP with evidence, and then actually runs the sequence with a veto before each send. Narrower input, finished output.

Our own numbers, because we are asking you to judge ours too. Kairon used Kairon for a month: 444 invitations sent, 169 accepted (38.1%), and 59 of those 169 people wrote back (34.9%). They come straight out of our own database, not from a survey. It is one account and one month, so take it as a reference point, not a promise. The query that produces it is published, in case you want to run it yourself. We do not invent numbers, ours or theirs.

What we could not confirm about Trigify.

Stated as what we looked for and did not find, on the date we looked. Not as claims about what Trigify could not do.

Their docs host returned a 522 to us on 2026-08-05, so we read the marketing site and the pricing page but could not read the API or MCP reference. We cannot tell you which tools their MCP server exposed beyond the three their homepage showed then: list_searches, get_search_results and create_search.

trigify.io · 2026-08-05

Credit pricing meant the bill moved with usage. Overages were stated openly at $0.012 per credit, which was honest, but a heavy month of listening did not cost what a quiet one did.

trigify.io/pricing · 2026-08-05

The Starter plan held only 7 days of search history and 50 signal profiles. If you needed to look back across a quarter, the real entry price was the $199 Max plan, not $40.

What to use now that Trigify has closed.

Trigify has closed. We read its notice on trigify.io on October 22, 2026. For most customers, access, integrations, API access and signal collection ended at 11:59pm BST that day. Accounts did not move to HubSpot. If your signals came from LinkedIn, Kairon can take over. It watches for job changes and posts on a topic you track. It also watches engagement on a rival’s post and companies that publish a job posting. Then it sends the invitation and the message from your own LinkedIn seat. Kairon does not watch X, Reddit or YouTube. For those you need another listening tool.

Fair questions.

Did Trigify close?

Yes. On September 23, 2026, Trigify announced that its team is joining HubSpot and that it is winding down the standalone platform. For customers on its standard notice period, access ended at 11:59pm BST on October 22, 2026. Its page says accounts will not be migrated to HubSpot. We read this on trigify.io on October 17 and October 22, 2026.

Is this comparison biased?

We built it, so read it with that in mind. It is also the page where we say Trigify had the same MCP architecture we do and watched more platforms than we do. Every claim names the Trigify page we read and the date we read it.

Did Trigify support MCP?

Yes, and by the same method as Kairon: a hosted MCP server added with `claude mcp add --transport http`, plus a REST API and a CLI. Its notice said API access and integrations would stop when account access ended.

What can I use instead of Trigify?

For signals on LinkedIn, Kairon. It watches for job changes and posts on a topic you track. It also watches engagement on a rival’s post and companies that publish a job posting. Then it sends from your own seat. Kairon does not watch X, Reddit or YouTube. For those you need a listening tool.
